The food is really good I'm a big sucker for noodles and I feel like the portions are more than enough I usually have to request extra noodles when I go elsewhere but fortunately for me I didn't because they do it without a request and I love that.... Will be back soon to try a different soup thank you yo the wonderful staff as well they were fast

The shop is a fairly small place, so if you're planning on bringing a large party, try to go during the beginning of a meal time or order to go. Servers were super friendly, and do their best to explain things on the menu. They have some vegetarian options, but there aren't much. They are willing to substitute types of protein if needed. I overheard someone asking for chicken rather than pork in the noodles. Not sure if they can do it for dumplings. There's a few different spice levels and for the folks that can't handle it, you can do no spice. Now for the food flavors... every noodle I ordered tasted like it is from the szhechuan province. It definitely has the "mala" flavors (numbing spice). 1. The spicy beef noodles has thinner noodles with bold flavors and good amount of beef shank. The beef was tender and strong in flavor. 2. Chengdu zajiang noodles has thicker noodles and plenty of bouncy feel in the bite. Comes with some sort of pork meat sauce and it's well seasoned with the the key szhechuan province spices. I only ordered mild spice and could've gone more but I wanted to be able to taste the food. 3. Chicken with chili sauce was okay for me. It tasted too sweet for my liking and needed modification with adding some soy sauce. 4. Dumplings (wontons) in chili oil was delicious. No complaints at all and it's a great plate size. Flavorful dumplings even without the sauce. 5. Yibin Burning noodles looks similar to the zajiang noodles but completely different flavors and has some extra peanut bits rather than sesame or peanut sauce. Would absolutely come back again, but hopefully after the hype and wait dies down a bit. Waiting an hour for noodles seems a bit long but it was well worth it (just not when you're getting hangry).

Saw this place on instagram and it was on my way home. It was worth the stop one of the most flavorful lunches I've had in awhile.

My go to spot for noodles in the IE, I'm glad they're getting the recognition they deserve due to the internet, but I also just want to eat my noodles without a wait! They're a mom n pop restaurant who recently got an influx of customers due to a food-influencer. Finally got to eat it again today before the dinner rush, and everything is as tasty as before even if the small restaurant was packed. The servers are very apologetic about the speed and crowd but still friendly service and delicious noodles. My favorites are the Chongqing noodles, spicy potatoes, and pickled mustard green pork noodles. They also let you pick rice noodles. Always hits the spot, but these days the wait during peak hours are around 30-60minutes. If you really want to try it, just go away from peak hours or wait a few weeks for the hype to calm down. If you already made the drive out and don't want to wait or leave empty handed, they sell giant tubs of homemade chili oil for around 10 bucks!
